Bathroom shower taps being replaced requiring 300x600 white gloss discontinued tiles

If you’ve got broken tiles, you might think you need to replace your entire bathroom or kitchen. In reality, that’s often not necessary.

With the right approach, you can replace damaged tiles and keep the rest intact.

Why full re-tiling is usually avoidable

Most people are told to re-tile because:

  1. Their tiles are discontinued

  2. Matching tiles seem impossible to find

  3. Builders and tilers recommend starting fresh

But in most cases, matching tiles is still possible.

The smart alternative: Tile matching

Instead of removing everything, tile matching allows you to:

  1. Replace only damaged tiles

  2. keep your existing layout

  3. save thousands of dollars on renovation costs

Start with a sample of your tile

The easiest way for us to help you is to remove a piece of the broken tile.

  1. Break out a piece or bring an offcut/spare tile into our store or via post

  2. Measure the exact size of the tile, for example the tile in this photo is a 197mmx197mm tile.

  3. Figure out the bare minimum number of tiles needed, for example this clients needs 1 tile but would like a few extra for spares in the future.

  4. Once you have this information send it to us or bring it to our store and our team will present you with the best option we can provide to solve your problem
